Celebrating the struggle and the glory of labour

Recently, Gitane held a commendation meeting for the “Enhancement of Product Life” labour competition in the refining and rolling area. The representative of the refining and rolling operation area and the representative of the quality department both made typical speeches. Party Secretary, Chairman and General Manager Li Gang attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Company leaders, secretaries of party branches and representatives of participating staff attended the meeting.

★ On behalf of the Party Committee of the Company, Comrade Li Gang congratulated the collectives and individuals who won honours in the labour competition and expressed his heartfelt thanks to all of them for their contributions to the development of the Company.

★ Li Gang pointed out that with the joint efforts of every participating employee in the three-phase process of the refining and rolling operation area, the Technology Development Department and the Quality Department, a good level of gas content control and product service life enhancement was successfully created. By carrying out the labour competition, we have transformed our minds, broken through our cognition, forged craftsmanship, improved the rate of finished products, reduced the amount of scrap steel produced, developed the working habit of fine operation and a rigorous, meticulous, focused and responsible working attitude, and significantly improved the gold content of the steel flower brand and the fast life of steel flower electric heat.

★ Li Gang stressed the need for excellence, continuous optimisation and improvement, and adherence to “high level of stability”. First, we should summarize the experience and practice of the labor competition, and constantly improve it, as a way and carrier to collect wisdom and research, improve the operation level, improve quality and cultivate skilled talents; second, we should concentrate our efforts and transform together, establish crisis awareness, focus on the development concept of low-carbon, recycling and green, transform the development mode of the enterprise, to be new and born, break the cocoon into a butterfly, and change the lane to lead; third, we should convert the traditional thinking, link the current situation and Fourth, we must continue to learn and practice, blue-collar, white-collar, skilled craftsmen, operators, technicians and engineers must face the field, the production line and the equipment. They should respect their profession, their jobs and their operations, and work together to improve their knowledge, skills, abilities and efficiency, so as to escort the healthy and high-quality development of the enterprise.
